Summer 2012 Open Course: A practical introduction to human rights

BIHR will be running two one-day introductory courses on human rights. The course is designed to raise awareness and offer practical strategies to address potential human rights concerns. The day will include a general outline of the key features and principles relevant to human rights, including an overview of international legislation. This will provide the context for the main focus of the day: a more detailed look at how the Human Rights Act operates and how particular rights contained within it may apply to everyday cases.
