The taught CPD course sessions have now ended. The next Big Saturday for this hub is Saturday September 18th at South Downs College, Havant near Portsmouth. The session will be in the Committee Room and will be for the group presentations about an aspect of Citizenship education that members have developed over the course.

The Portfolio must be handed in on September 27th. Course members should ensure that they have completed the following aspects
1. Complete the SKP and outline an action plan for Citizenship education from the SKP
2. A Scheme of Work covering a minimum of three lessons involving an NGO or other partner and eveidence of observation of teaching the work. Please include any teaching resources with the Scheme of Work
3. The evaluation of Citizenship education at their institution using the ACT SET
4. Evidence of a presentation to peers, senior leaders or others in their institution on the findings from the evaluation or an aspect of the evaluation-usually to be found in the final matrix at the back of the SET
5. Evidence of a the presentation to course members about an aspect of Citizenship education-usually derived from the school evluation, the lesson planning or SKP/action plan
5. A reflective piece of writing about the value and importance of Citizenship education.
