Come and join Zoe Fox, Subject Leader of Citizenship at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Engineering College on Wednesday 3 July to talk all things Citizenship!

An overview of the event from Zoe Fox

As we end the term and year, I would like to invite you all to meet with me to discuss how our year of Citizenship has been, what would be helpful for next year, and some quick tips and pointers as we continue to plan for 24/25.

ACT teaching ambassador and Head of Citizenship and PSHE at Withington Girls School, Manchester, Steven Humphrys and I are looking forward to welcoming you for a relaxed TeachMeet to discuss anything from the curriculum, to Active Citizenship, to GCSE marking. We know that being a Citizenship teacher can often mean you are the only person in your department and we would love to establish a local network here - an extended department we can all benefit from!

This TeachMeet is an in-person event being held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Engineering College, Glenburn Road, Skelmersdale WN8 6JW.

Getting to the venue

  • 5 minutes from Junction 4 on the M58, 15 minutes from Junction 26 on the M6 and 15 minutes from Junction 6 on the M57
  • We are South West Lancashire between Manchester and Liverpool roughly but only about 30 minutes from Preston, 50 minutes from Blackburn and about 50 minutes from Chester.
