An opportunity to develop your subject knowledge on Citizenship topics for those new to teaching the subject.

This event is for all teachers who are new to Citizenship. You might be just starting your teaching career or you may be an experienced teacher who has just taken on Citizenship, or you are planning an integrated curriculum approach to Citizenship, Values and Personal Development or Life Skills. This event is also ideal for those who are new to becoming a tutor.

The pedagogy and approaches discussed will help you managed form time discussions and debates as well as Citizenship and PSHE issues which may arise within your lessons. 

During this session ACT Ambassadors Teachers will share thier knowledge and expertise on a varity of topics including:  teaching diversity, politics, human rights, the difference between Citizenship and PSHE and RE. Both subject content and resources will be shared to help you make a great start to next academic year.
