ACT’s Quality Standard: a curriculum improvement tool

All our regular training sessions are currently online. Live sessions use the Zoom meeting platform – we’ll send you a link and it is easy to join the meeting. Pre-recorded sessions are available after registration in your membership dashboard.

Sessions usually last 60 to 90 minutes, sometimes with extra time to ask questions at the end.

Live sessions usually involve some active participation. To help everything run as smoothly as possible, ideally we like you to keep your camera on and your microphone muted (when you’re not speaking). Some sessions also involve polls, break-out rooms and surveys – where this is the case, we will explain exactly what you need to do.

Zoom offers a range of accessibility features, for example closed captions on recordings and documents in alternative formats. Please let us know if you have any access requirements – we are committed to delivering inclusive sessions that enable everyone to engage fully.

Yes – you can join as an e-member and set up an ACT website profile that will enable you to register for sessions. However, please note that unfortunately, as a non-paying member, there will often be a fee to attend events.

After the event, we ask that you complete a short evaluation survey – your feedback is invaluable in helping us to improve. Once we’ve received your survey response, we will send you a recording of the session, copies of the presentation and any supporting resources, and a certificate of attendance.

If you need to cancel your booking for a live event, please let us know by emailing us at [email protected] at least 14 days prior to the date of the event. If you discover you cannot attend within 13 days of the booked event, you can either nominate someone else to take your place, or you can transfer the value of your order to another event.

Pre-recorded sessions are not eligible for cancellation or refunds.
