Assessing in Citizenship

Join our interactive workshop to discuss what effective assessment in Citizenship looks like

About this event

Like any other National Curriculum subject, it’s vital that our students make sustained progress in Citizenship throughout their schooling. This workshop will equip teachers with the skills to assess them accurately.

In this interactive workshop, Craig Wright, an experienced Citizenship teacher and Assistant Vice Principal will explain ACT’s assessment framework and how you can apply it to your students’ work. There will be an opportunity to apply the framework to examples. Participants are welcome to bring anonymised work with them in PDF or slide format to share with the group to see how the framework applies to their own cohorts.
