About this event
Like any other National Curriculum subject, it’s vital that our students make sustained progress in Citizenship throughout their schooling. This workshop will equip teachers with the skills to assess them accurately.
In this workshop, Craig Wright, an experienced Citizenship teacher and Assistant Vice Principal explains ACT’s assessment framework and how you can apply it to your students’ work.

CPD strand – Introduction to Citizenship
This strand is designed for anybody who is new to the subject, from ITE trainees to experienced teachers who are teaching Citizenship for the first time. These events will allow participants to develop their understanding of the core substantive knowledge of the subject, key concepts and best practice in pedagogy.
