What substantive knowledge can support our teaching of fraud and financial crime in the Citizenship curriculum?
Join us for this detailed session to increase your knowledge of Fraud and Financial Crime
About this event
This is the second session in our 4-part series on teaching Fraud and Financial Crime. This session will focus on the subject-specific knowledge you will need to help you teach the lessons written and published by ACT developed in collaboration with the Home Office and the National Crime Agency. Using these resources, we will explore this intricate area of law using case studies and examples.
Craig Wright, an experienced Vice Principle, will be leading the workshop. As one of the writers of the materials, he is well versed in what teachers need to know to ensure they can teach these lessons with confidence.
This is an interactive session and will allow time for participants to explore the resources and consider how they can be used in their setting.
Attending all four sessions will lead to participants gaining a certificate from ACT and the Home Office awarding national recognition for Fraud and Financial Crime Education Teaching.
Attending any single session will still be of great benefit and all participants will receive a certificate of attendance
