We've gathered the Citizenship Studies advance information from the exam boards.
The Association for Citizenship Teaching welcomes the GCSE Citizenship Studies advance information (pre-release materials) from the examination boards today.
This information has been provided by each examination board to support you and your students, as you prepare for the summer 2022 assessments. You can access each relevant page below and download the documents:
Pearson Exdexcel Advance Information
We would like to assure all GCSE Citizenship Studies teachers that we are now using these materials to support and prepare our members ahead of the examinations this summer. We will be running a GCSE Network CPD session on 15th February that’s open to all Citizenship Studies teachers.
The session is a chance to discuss and plan the next steps for revision and teaching for the success of our students.
We understand that this has been a challenging time for all of those working in the sector and that the awarding bodies have had to work under difficult circumstances to prepare these materials.
Ofqual has also published the following documents on advance information:
- Postcard overview with infographic
- Subject-by-subject guide
- Coping with exam pressure, which was produced in conjunction with Professor Dave Putwain, a researcher (and a former school and college teacher) at Liverpool John Moores University.
We look forward to welcoming you to the network events so you can hear and learn from other practitioners from across our national network. These include our Teaching Ambassadors who have experience with all three examination boards.
