The United Nations Matters

The United Nations Matters

Today is United Nations Day. Commemorated on 24 October each year, the day marks the entry into force of the UN Charter in 1945.

Human Rights Pictionary

Designed by ACT Council member Leigh Canning, the below resources allow you to put together a pictionary-style game in which students pick cards listing different articles of the UN Declaration of Human Rights, which they then draw for another student to guess. This allows students to think about the key elements of different human rights in a creative and fun way.
