Human rights resources competition

International Human Rights Day is coming up on 10th December – a good time to celebrate the liberties enjoyed by UK citizens and to contrast them with the oppression suffered by many around the world.
ACT has teamed up with Teachit Citizenship and we want to get involved by rewarding you for your teaching resources that you have made on the theme of human rights.

We’re teaming up with ACT to offer the winner:

  • a year’s free ACT membership, which includes: a termly journal, Teaching Citizenship; access to resources for the Citizenship curriculum; discounts on conferences, workshops and events; support from the ACT team
  • a year’s free subscription to Teachit Citizenship, with access to all our existing resources and interactives
  • the option of having your resource published on the Teachit Citizenship site
  • a copy of Hugh Starkey’s book Teachers and Human Rights Education.

Runners-up will receive:

  • a year’s free subscription to Teachit Citizenship, with access to all our existing resources and interactives
  • the option of having your resource published on the Teachit Citizenship site.

The deadline for entries is Sunday 5 January 2014.
