FREE Election CPD for teachers
ACT is delighted to be working with 24 organisations as part of the educateGE project to provide support to schools in teaching about the Election, voting and democracy.
Four new lessons have been developed by ACT teachers on the election, voting, manifestos and running a parallel election in schools.
Six regional hub meetings take place on 27 November in locations around the country. These meetings are led by ACT Ambassadors who are all experience Citizenship teachers.
Join with others in Manchester, Sheffield, Leicester, Gloucestershire, London and Hampshire for an inspiring and practical meeting designed to help you develop practical teaching approaches and resources to take back to your classroom.
Two online CPD sessions are availble for those seeing advice, tips and teaching ideas to bring the election to life for pupils in your schools.
ACT provides a range of resources including advice on teaching about the Electorial, voting and Political Parties. We have also put together Advice to schools on remaining impartial and avoiding partisan activity based on the Department for Education latest guidance.
The educateGE project is with The Politics Project and Sheffield University and supported by the Jospeh Rowntree Reform Trust.
