The National Football Museum opened in the landmark Urbis building in Manchester City Centre in July 2012.

In January 2013 the Museum will begin its educational programme offer to schools. One of its key sessions is a creative Citizenship learning session.

Topics covered include Racism in Football, Women’s Football and Disability Football. After an introductory talk students will reinforce the ideas discussed by completing a trail on the Museum’s Galleries.

Suitable for secondary students, Key Stages 3 and 4.

Teachers are invited to the museum at any time for a free introduction to the museum.
