NCS and ACT are delighted to be working in partnership to support schools in preparing young people for NCS through high quality citizenship education.

Citizenship Curriculum Materials

ACT and NCS have developed a set of curriculum materials to support citizenship teaching. They introduce pupils to NCS and promote active citizenship through effective social action.

The resource comprises:

• A teaching guide
• Activities for use with pupils in key stages 3 and 4, and as part of GCSE Citizenship Studies, and
• A social action toolkit ‘Make it Happen!’ for pupils to use when undertaking action.
