Recruitment of Trustees

ACT Trustees are committed to ACT’s mission and strategic aims. The Board of Trustees sets the overall strategic direction of the organisation to help ensure the organisation meets its objectives. Trustees also ensure ACT is well managed, is in line with legal obligations, is financially sustainable and provide support and advice to staff in delivering ACT’s agreed programmes work.

Trustees have a range of knowledge and experience in finance, human resources, business development, fund raising, how the law affects charities and education.

The recruitment of Trustees is overseen by the Chair and normally involves a written application and interview. Read more about the Trustees

Standing for ACT Council
