Citizenship education in museums and galleries

This resource was developed by ACT as part of a CPD day at the Peopleʼs Museum in Manchester in 2019. The activities have been selected to encourage students to focus on critical interpretation of sources of evidence and narratives. The ideas discourage a checklist / worksheet approach to working through the museum. They encourage an active learning focus on critical thinking, identity and diversity.
