Digital Marketing Manager vacancy
We're recruiting a new role to take our marketing to the next level at an exciting time.
Could you become ACT’s first Digital Marketing Manager?
The Association for Citizenship Teaching (ACT) is undergoing a significant period of change, following recent strategic funding. The funding has resulted in an expanded education team, a refreshed brand, improved membership packages and services as well as a newly launched website. We now seek to take on an experienced digital marketer to help us serve current members, and grow our membership within the education marketplace.
Our vision is for all young people to be equipped through effective Citizenship Education to become active, informed citizens who can participate in democratic life. ACT is the subject association for Citizenship teachers. It achieves its aim by providing membership services and education programmes, while representing teachers and others involved in Citizenship education both across the UK and overseas.
ACT provides expert advice, training, conferences and resources to support the provision of quality Citizenship education. Beyond advocating for the subject, it also supports subject research, and offers strategic policy advice.
This year marks the twentieth anniversary since Citizenship education’s inclusion within the national curriculum. As well as celebrating this landmark, ACT is undergoing an exciting phase in its history following investment last year. This new funding has been awarded to build a national network of teachers in schools and colleges, who are committed to embedding quality Citizenship education provision.
To help school leaders and classroom teachers we have launched a refreshed website for the new academic year. Furthermore, we are in the process of updating and expanding ACT’s membership services. This includes more guidance material, a broader programme of training and CPD, curricular resources, plus much, much more. This role will suit someone who is personable, has a can-do attitude, is good at working under their own initiative and enjoys working as part of a small team. You will be flexible and dynamic, with an ability to adapt and respond quickly in a fast-moving environment.
If you’d like to take a closer look at the role, head over to the Charity Job website and apply directly there. The application deadline is midnight on Sunday, 18th September 2022.
You might be an experienced marketing manager, or someone looking to step up into this role to deliver effective marketing strategies that will build awareness, prompt action and develop deeper connections with key stakeholders. With ambitious plans to grow membership over the next 3 years, we seek a bright, capable marketing professional with a can-do attitude to ensure our marketing is engaging, accurate and inspires interest with prospects and engagement with our members. We hope this fantastic opportunity encourages you to apply. Liz Moorse, ACT Chief Executive
