Adapt GCSE active citizenship projects for social distancing

A one hour focus session to explore how to adapt GCSE active citizenship projects while social distancing requirements are in place

This session will be led by Zoe Baker, our Secondary Lead and Emily Owen Regional Ambassador. It will be an opportunity to explore the ACTive Citizenship Award Scheme run in association with First News and adaptations made to allow this to take place safely given the new public health considerations.

During the session the process of the award scheme will be explained as well as the benefits to the curriculum and citizenship learning. This session would be suitable for both primary and secondary teachers. Those who are responsible for enrichment activities, PSHE, Careers, student councils will also find this session useful as the award works on many levels.
