We’re excited to share with you our outline CPD programme for the forthcoming school year. These sessions will build upon the extensive and hugely popular programme run during the past year.
This new outline programme builds upon the success of last year and reflects upon the feedback received from our passionate and committed CPD attendees, to whom we are extremely grateful both for their input and their feedback.
Our outline CPD programme consists of four strands, full details of which can be found below. Each strand provides opportunities to all Citizenship educators, as well as a broad range of individuals and organisations from across the Citizenship community.
One major change, which has taken place in the last few months and will continue in the next school year, is the introduction of dedicated CPD pages where attendees are able to access the entire follow-up package for each CPD event, including presentations, video recordings and a wide array of support resources. As part of our ongoing website development this feature will soon be integrated into members My Account page, giving attendees even greater access to resources and creating a true ‘one-stop shop’ for all of their support needs.
Whoever you are, you will be able to benefit from something to enhance your Citizenship subject knowledge and pedagogy.

2023/24 CPD Strands
Our refreshed CPD strands are designed to meet the varied needs of individuals involved in Citizenship education, from new teachers up to SLT. The strands also provide tailored support for GCSE Citizenship teachers. We have also developed a new strand entitled 'Politics, Elections and Society' which provides broader subject knowledge enhancement.
