20 lessons for 20 years - The Criminal Justice System
GCSE • Law & The Justice System • Lesson and support materials
This lesson is the first from a series of lessons investigating the Criminal Justice System in England.
Students examine issues and challenges facing the criminal justice system in recent years, considering the impact of a ‘broken’ system on those who use it and considering ways in which people can make a difference.
This lesson has been designed by Citizenship teacher Luke Jenner to support the Edexcel GCSE Citizenship Studies course.
This lesson is part of our 20 Lessons for 20 Years collection celebrating the fantastic work that is carried out every day in our Citizenship community of teachers. Our Citizenship teachers have shared their favourite lessons that encompass the knowledge, skills and understanding pupils develop through Citizenship education.
